How Gameplay works

The Wavumbuzi Entrepreneurship Challenge uses gamification, a proven teaching method that makes learning more engaging and enjoyable. This approach fosters innovation, creativity, productivity, and helps students retain knowledge and develop essential skills.

The Gameworld serves as an interactive portal where students can access weekly challenges, resources, videos, and articles. These materials are designed to encourage creative thinking and the development of entrepreneurial skills.

Across Rwanda and Kenya, students participate in friendly competitions by completing micro-challenges that tackle real-world issues. Students apply new concepts in practical ways and submit their experiences for evaluation. Points earned contribute to live leaderboards, ranking students, teachers, and schools. At the end of the challenge, top performers are recognized with awards for their achievements.
