What are Discretionary Peer Reviews?

Accessing Discretionary Peer Reviews
From the Challenge World Screen, you'll see a little checkbox item in the menu at the bottom of the screen:

When you click that checkbox, you'll see something like this:

You'll notice that there are bonus points on offer for doing the reviews. You'll also notice that there are a limited number of reviews available each day.
As with the mandatory reviews, you will not earn the points if your reviews are done poorly and fall far away from the "finalized" score determined by the scoring algorithm.
Completing Discretionary peer reviews
When you click on one of the light blue review buttons, you will be given an anonymous submission to be reviewed. This will not be anyone from your school and will be for a challenge that you have yourself completed.
This review will look much the same as the reviews you have to do when you submit your own challenges. For example:


Click on Submit Review
A as per usual, you will be able to "Report" submissions as plagiarized or inappropriate.Please know that you will not receive points for reporting a submission.
