Here are some quick and easy ways to get the most out of Wavumbuzi and your learners:

• Share the animated promo video with your class to inspire them
• Notify your learners of the weekend and overall prizes that are up for grabs to incentivise them
• Encourage learners to register before Challenge begins so that they don’t get behind
• Set aside 30 minutes each week with your learners to focus on the challenge
• Use the Leaderboards and Teacher Portal to track the performance of your learners and your teacher network
• Check the Teacher Portal regularly to see which of the challenges your learners are not completing. Chances are they need your help and encouragement with these in particular
• Regularly check in with learners to understand any barriers they may face so that you can help
• Set goals with your learners in order to give them a sense of individual responsibility.
• Regularly recognize your learners that are most engaged to motivate them further and also set an example to their fellow cohort
